A 3100 mile journey across country to pursue an entrepreneurial dream. A 3100 mile move away from everyone known including those who gave them six months to fail. A leap of faith... 3100 miles ahead, no looking back and 3100 reasons to prove everyone wrong.
It takes passion and perseverance to make such a commitment. Faced with fear of the unknown, learning from mistakes, and finding their way to immeasurable happiness, Brad and Cathy Taylor are inspirations for anyone who has set out to make it on their own in this world.
Brad was born a serial entrepreneur. As a youth he took on multiple paper routes and as he grew, he read every book he could get his hands on about prominent American business pioneers such as Thomas Edison, Rockefeller, Henry Ford, and J. P. Morgan.
Brad began his career in the retail drug store industry working his way up, being mentored by his assertion “the best in the industry”. In the late 80’s, he met Cathy, a registered pediatric nurse, and he not only found love...but a lifelong partner, willing to make a leap of faith that would change their lives forever.
Brad and Cathy, together, made the commitment to enter the publishing industry and have, since, grown their endeavor to become the largest network of market-specific magazines featuring luxury homes in North America. For over 25 years, Brad and Cathy’s continued success in publishing and media paved the way for the creation of the, incomparable, Luxury Home Magazine (LHM) https://www.luxuryhomemagazine.com, and its subsidiaries. LHM has a proven distribution model, advertising acumen, industry strategy and a market tenacity that is, now, a curated collection of luxury homes, luxury real estate, luxury specialists, and luxury products and services establishing a presence as “The Coffee Table Magazine” for realtors, builders, products, services, buyers and sellers alike.
Today, Brad and Cathy, are, two, of the most respected individuals in the print and digital media arena. It is their purpose and passion to empower others by sharing their enthusiasm for “intentional success” as well as their knowledge and leadership skills to help others.
To make such a leap of faith, it required Brad and Cathy to work together as one. Working with your spouse has its challenges as well as rewards. Here Cathy eloquently gives her perspective: Link to Cathy’s story:
